The location is beautiful - a mere 15 minute taxi ride from Tung Chung Station - and how nice a beach! The sand is white and fine - I never knew that such a nice beach existed in Hong Kong.Food is typical Thai (Northern), and particularly notable was the chili calamari salad and the red curry prawns with roti bread - nice use of herbs, with a thick aromatic sauce that goes well with bread or rice - of a higher standard than the watery and tasteless (or needlessly spicy) curry typically found in
Food is typical Thai (Northern), and particularly notable was the chili calamari salad and the red curry prawns with roti bread - nice use of herbs, with a thick aromatic sauce that goes well with bread or rice - of a higher standard than the watery and tasteless (or needlessly spicy) curry typically found in Hong Kong. I only had lime soda (which was perfect for the hot weather), but it appears that they have an excellent selection of wine on offer as well.
The alfresco ambience together with direct access to the beach makes it a perfect spot to spend a nice weekend afternoon - highly recommended!
