Belly BoysI have always been in search for the best burger in HK but it seems that the better ones are of similar quality. Heard about Belly Boys sometime ago and bookmarked it to try for a while. I have always been in search for the best burger in HK but it seems that the better ones are of similar quality. Heard about Belly Boys sometime ago and bookmarked it to try for a while. It’s located right behind the yoga studio that I frequent, so I thought why not giving it a go. Burgers and fries prepared à la minute. Ordered Burger Au Poivre that comprises USDA Prime Beef Patty, Au Poivre Peppercorn Sauce with Caramelized onion, American Cheese, Sauteed Mushroom. Ordered some add-ons to the burger such as lettuce and tomato and Hazelnut Salted Caramel Milk shake for drinks. The milk shake flavour was right but the density was lower than that of Five Guys. The patty was fresh and the flavour of Au Poivre Peppercorn Sauce was nice but the moisture from the caramelised onion and lettuce quickly had the brioche bun dissolved into an unrecognisable mess. Luckily they have surgical disposable gloves for patrons to use otherwise things would get pretty messy very quickly. Overall, nice burger and shake but I would try a burger content that would release a lot less moisture for better comparison next time.
