my boy and i were merely hoping to grab a small dinner bite together at aberdeen. we thought of thai and came over here. it's only around six thirty at that time so it's still kind of early and there were seats. actually it's pretty much fully-booked that night since it was a weekend, we were lucky enough to have a small table for two.we were given a plate of shrimp crackers right after we've sat down. actually i find this a little bit ridiculous because we haven't ordered anything yet at that t
we were given a plate of shrimp crackers right after we've sat down. actually i find this a little bit ridiculous because we haven't ordered anything yet at that time, don't restaurants serve appetizers after people have ordered their food? anyway, the crackers were nice, and the sauce as well, but i might want it to have a slightly stronger hint of sweet and sour, i think that will be more appetizing. i've seen people recommending this dish so we've decided to have a try too. it was really hot when served, with lots of smoke coming out from it, and it smelt really good, aromatic. the lamb satay's good too. the meat's tender, but the taste of lamb were not strong. the satay's good, but it might be a bit too oily after all, but that's okay. lastly, we were served with this delicate sago coconut dessert in pandan leaf. the delicate look of it was very adoring. the sweetness was fine, and the corn was sweet. i might prefer it a bit colder though.
too bad that the place was so popular in the evenings, we were not allowed to sit for too long. the waiter actually helped us to check the bill without us asking to. the bill just came right after we're done with our desserts. should i say they were efficient or hurrying us away?
