Steak is always one of my favorite foods. This time I have a meal with my old friend at a small restaurant in Mong Kok.The reason why we chose this restaurant is their offer of 1.5hr Semi-buffet Steak, which I can ensure my friend will get full eventually. I ordered AUS Kobe M7 Flank in Back Pepper and Pomelo, suggested by the waiter of the restaurant. While waiting for the steak and the soup, I started to have some appetizers & chips at the Salad Bar.

There were numbers of choices at Salad Bar. It was surprising for me that the appetizers were very fresh and I believed that the salad were not put at the Salad Bar for so long. Besides, the chips kept so hot and crispy although I’ve refilled a few times (from the start of my meal till the end of my meal XD).

The pumpkin soup and butter baguette were ready 5 mins after my order. It can be felt that no food additive / flavor was used in the soup. The fantastic taste of the soup truly came from the sufficient pumpkin of the soup.

Finally the main course arrived. The size of the steak was a bit smaller than what I expected. (Luckily, the semi-buffet at Salad Bar can help satisfy my stomach.) Even so, the taste of the steak was so great without doubt. That’s medium as what I ordered. No overcook nor undercook. The taste was even similar to those steaks I had in Australia. Very nice and traditionally-western cuisine. The most important was that it’s not fat at all. Good for me, a people who needed to keep fit.
The overall quality of this steakhouse was satisfactory. The selling point of the steakhouse was its traditionally-western style steak. The semi-buffet it offered can also help satisfy the stomach of those food killers like me.
