Pleasantly surprise there is one more Italian restaurant in Wanchai, especially in the same street, make my life easier to get a table for dinner!!My husband and I were struggling to get a table in the nearby Italian restaurant, then a smily guy waving at us with his company card - an Italian flag at opposite side of the road. My husband and I were struggling to get a table in the nearby Italian restaurant, then a smily guy waving at us with his company card - an Italian flag at opposite side of the road. Without hesitation we crossed the road and got in immediately.
Comfy atmosphere, music was a bit loud, probably the location we were sitting, table was big enough, food was not over-priced.
As we always like Italian wine, so we asked for wine list. Although they did not have one, a kind uncle came to us and recommend one after "checking" our preference, very hearty service.
We ordered a Caesar Salad - again very surprised, crunchy bread cube, fresh vegetable - and with ANTROVY, which give depth to the taste.
My husband had a chicken dish - well seasoned and good prsentation.
I had grilled seafood - served to us while it was still pipping hot! Therefore smell excellent, the white fish slice was a bit salty, the salmon was brilliant - medium well done, and with prawns, scallops and mussels - too big that I couldn't finish it all by myself.
The wine was also of good quality, $410.
We had two liqueor after the meal - lemoncello and the other from the ltalian owner's home town.
The owner is a very nice italian guy who speak fluent English.
