I had originally wanted to come here in Sunday but it was closed. So, I returned again. The shop has a very old fashioned Chinatown feel to it. Complete with gold dragons and red lanterns. Everything was written in both Chinese and English including how much to add for take away. They had a variety of dumplings along with rice and noodles. I saw also some snack dishes like drunken chic

Even the menu felt very old school Chinatown. Everything was written in both Chinese and English including how much to add for take away. They had a variety of dumplings along with rice and noodles. I saw also some snack dishes like drunken chicken all around $20. But I was only here for one reason and that was dumplings!

Since I was alone, I ordered five pork and leek (my favorite flavor) and five of the special flavor, seafood. I also added a glass of soybean milk.

For $6, this was a pretty small glass of soybean milk. It was the same cup used for tea. I'd say smaller than the size of an iPhone. There also wasn't much soybean taste and was just plain sweet. For this price, I wasn't expecting to drink soybean milk that tasted like Vitasoy and in such a tiny cup. Way overpriced.

The seafood dumplings were a let down. The dumpling skin was ok but where was the seafood?

Menu said scallop, shrimp, pork, chives. I only tasted pork and chives. No scallops and shrimp. There also wasn't much juicy juices inside the dumplings.

However, the pork and leek dumplings were pretty good. Lots of filling. Juices just leaked out. Dumpling skin was right amount of thickness.

They have an afternoon tea special. From 2:30 - 6, everything on the menu is 30%off!

Would most likely return as it's convenient for me to go. But perhaps next time, I'll stay away from the newer styles and stick with the classics.
