I had the opportunity to visit Schnitzel & Schnaps during Hong Kong Restaurant Week, but unfortunately, my dining experience was disappointing. The restaurant didn't meet my expectations and the dishes that I tasted were disappointing. The schnitzels I had were heavily breaded and oily, lacking the crisp and tender texture that is expected from this traditional Austrian dish. The meat was overcooked and dry, making it difficult to enjoy. The side dishes, such as sauerkraut and potato salad, were under-seasoned and lacked flavor. Additionally, the dishes lacked presentation and creativity. It seemed as though no effort was put into presenting the food in an appealing manner, which affected my overall dining experience. While the service at Schnitzel & Schnaps was pleasant, the food quality didn't match the standard for Hong Kong Restaurant Week. I hope they will take these criticisms constructively and work toward improving their dishes in the futu.

In comparison to the other dishes that I tasted, Kaiserschmarrn was undoubtedly the highlight of the meal. While the savory dishes left much to be desired, this dessert was a standout and demonstrated that the restaurant has the potential to create a great culinary experience.
