I was meeting a friend to get off work for dinner and had some time to just chill. Decided to find a cafe nearby the restaurant and came here as someone one was passing out flyers for a coffee shop. Located inside the China Mobile store is a cafe. Design looked nice and chic. Menu is in English and Chinese and yes, they do charge 10% service charge as it's also a restaurant serving burgers and pasta. They even have a promo where you order a burger for $128 and they will give you a free nitro cold brew.
As I was going to have dinner later, I only wanted a coffee so ordered a latte ($36). They asked if I wanted sugar, I said a very small amount. The latte art looked nice. But the coffee? Weak. It wasn't aromatic. The taste of the sugar was a bit too much and covered the coffee completely. I've never had this happen in other places before when I asked for a bit of sugar. The temperature was also too hot so I had to wait a bit to cool down before taking a sip. A sad cup of coffee despite the nice view below. Won't be back.
