I booked a private room and celebrated my birthday with a group of friends a week ago, and we had such a great time! I'd like to express our gratitude over here for the staff at Misto. The place was nice, the service was great and the food was delicious. For the price, I cannot say its cheap but its definitely worth it for its quality and service. Food:
We ordered cocktails, red wine, steak, king prawns, lamb chops, risotto, pasta and chicken. I tried a bit of everything. For cocktails (non-alcoholic) I'd recommend Beauty Life and Litchi Slush. There were bits and pieces of lychee in Litchi Slush which tasted really good.
For main courses, I think they are all well-cooked, the sirloin steak was tender. the malted king prawns tasted really special and dellicious. the chicken was not dry at all and it has a hint of Lavender flavour which was really nice. I didnt try the Cod fish but my friend said it was really nice and 滑. We only ordered Western food from the menu so we didnt know how the Asian/thai dishes taste like. But i think the Western dishes are all 有水準.
The dessert was my favourite course. They looked so nice and they tasted good as well. We ordered one small dessert platter and one deluxe dessert platter. They are all so nicely presented and I can see the chef has made a lot of effort in doing so. We all loved the crème brulee and heart-shaped molten chocolate cake specially ordered for my birthday.
Staff:
They are all sooooo nice n friendly. I have read previous comments in openrice about the service at Misto, no offence but I personally think that they dont do justice to the staff at Misto at all. Generally speaking, the courses were professionally served at appropriate times and we didnt have to wait too long. The staffs were friendly and patient in recommending and introducing different dishes to us. And they have taken dozens of photos for us.
and my most appreciated part is that the owner of the restaurant who's famous himself came in to say happy birthday to me in person. We felt really thrilled and honoured as customers. We were totally touched by the sincere attitude of all the staffs.
