Let me be the first one to review this restaurant~!!!
I have been living in this district for nearly 5 years~
To my surprise, Ruby Tuesday opened in East Point City! My hubby and I feel excited for its openning as we love its ribs, fried potato and steaks so much that we need to travel to Kowloon Bay for it before. And now it is so close to us
Since its openning in early 2014, there is always long queue outside for dinner time.
I then try for its lunch on our holiday in weekdays
Not much people will go for lunch here, as there are many other chocies around with more bargaining prices, thus we can get a table immediately
My hubby loves snooker so much and we can be seated in a table which can watch the snooker match. Due to less customers here in lunch time, the waiters did provide very good service to us.
A senior one spent quite a couple of time to explain to us the dishes in the menu, and recommend us the nice choices
We have order 2 lunch sets:Ruby Minis and BBQ Pork drumsticks, both is around $90 something. And I have upgrade my drink to Strawberry Lemonade by adding $12 The dishes were delivered to us shortly, with same waiter serving us and keep asking us if we need anything frequently
That's very nice service indeed, if it can be kept at night time as well The soup is surprisingly nice, with a tasty scone served together For the main dish, Ruby Minis contained 2 mini burgers. The portion is easy for sharing, yet it was not hot enough.
The fried potato was fair.
Another dish was the BBQ Pork drumsticks, this was very nice
Meat was juicy and the source was perfectly match
All in all, the food is to the standard with good service
However, the whole serving portion is not really big enough and the price may be relatively expensive in this residential area, where there are many better choice nearby.
While I still prefer to its lunch more then dinner, which the dinner is relatively expensive with such quality if you didn't join as VIP.
Other Info. :
A good lightlight is the bar area with big TV, which keep boardcasting snooker competition. Snooker fans must like this a lot~
