It was super hot outside and I was in need of air conditioning. It was here that we found a place called Richfield that had a number of little eateries. One place was MF Coffee and Bakery. We decided to go inside for a break from the heat. The cafe was a decent size and spacious. They had a large cake display with a lot of cakes!Menu was in English and Chinese with the sets in Chinese only. There is no 10% service charge and you order and pay at the cashier where they will bring the food to you. T

Menu was in English and Chinese with the sets in Chinese only. There is no 10% service charge and you order and pay at the cashier where they will bring the food to you. They served not just cakes and the usual cafe items but also Chinese dishes.

We ordered two sets that came with standard drinks for add $10 for upgrades. We decided to upgrade. I had the Passion Fruit Juice Green tea (on the left) and boyfriend had the Coconut Snow (on the right). The drinks were ok. Not too sweet but at least very cold.

Boyfriend had the Beef Brisket and Radish with Rice ($58). Portion size wasn't very big. The beef was soft but it wasn't very rich in flavor. The sauce was a bit on the watery side.

I had the Peanut Butter Toast ($40). This was a lot better. The toast was thick and crisp. There was a generous amount of peanut butter.

The food was ok. Not extremely good but at least it was edible. It was a good place to have a break but unsure if we'd ever be back even if in the area.
