Whenever i passed by this restaurant, i thought that it only goes for desserts. It is good to know that having a proper japanese meal and dessert in one place with a tea theme.I ordered a Kyohayashiya Obanzai (tea set - $108), which was consisted of four little plates and a bowl of rice with tea flavour. I was impressed with its huge diversity of food in this set.The top-right hand corner was an appetiser - octopus salad, in which the octopus was chewing while the veggie was brittle in texture.T

The top-right hand corner was an appetiser - octopus salad, in which the octopus was chewing while the veggie was brittle in texture.

The bottom-right was mackerel with teriyaki sauce, the fish was tasty without fishy smell, as well as a little bit sweetness from the sauce. I love this plate the most.

The top-left hand side is Tamagoyaki (egg cake) and black fungus, fair for this one.

The bottom-left is consisted of a japanese scallop, little dried fish and fish cake with some cheese inside.

With the tea set, i got the Sencha Infused with Apple and Rose Flavour. The “30 seconds rule” is quite interesting when playing with the hourglass.

Last but not least, i did order a Maccha Cheese Cake to draw a perfect end of my meal intentionally. However, the flavour of cheese overrode maccha. The ice-cream had a stronger taste of maccha comparing with the cake, which is quite disappointing.
