A very nostalgic place with Hong Kong 60s vibes that makes you reminisce about the good old days. The menu of this place is like an ordinary tea restaurants with a lot of quick bites as well as mains of all styles like Chinese, western and a lot of baked rice or noodles to choose from. The variety of food choices is so wide at tea restaurants. and I think this and the reasonable prices are what make them so popular and necessary for many's everyday life.
The two angel hair dishes we tried was the Braised angel with smoked salmon and mussels & the Bolettus Smoked Duck Breast braised angel hair.
Each dish comes with a set with a bowl of soup and a drink of your choice. The flavor was nothing very remarkable, just like your ordinary angels from tea restaurants as they have their own style of making things. You could almost foresee their tastes beforehand and they surely were enjoyable.
The main reason that people go to tea restaurants would be their reasonable prices, not having to queue for ages before getting a table and their swift dining experience that saves so much time. It is surely a must have for busy city people that are living such hectic lives and cannot afford to have long sophisticated meals every day.
Can't help but took a bunch of photos of the place because it just looked so nostalgic and it felt like going into a time tunnel to eat!
