Pistachio Mousse with Strawberry Parfait is the dessert I decided to order after looking at the menu as pistachio dessert is not that common except for the pistachio cake from Dolce 2/3.Two blocks of pistachio mousse topped with strawberry foam were plated with the strawberry parfait in the centre. Between them were some strawberries and what i believed to be black crispy pieces. The pistachio mousse tasted quite rich but it wasn’t smooth enough. I’d imagine it to melt in my mouth but in fact it was not smooth. The strawberry foam was also a nice touch to the dish but the black pieces were in fact soft and tasteless cakes. It would be better if they were crispy cookies pieces to make a good contrast with the soft mousse and parfait.
The mango waffle however was nicely made with a crispy texture. It was warm when served and tasted amazing with the cold yogurt ice cream.
