The atmosphere is still there: the DIY decorations, the CD dragon, the wild garden sprinkled with trinkets and the shelves bursting with books.

The food was not out-of-this-world, decent but I definitely expected more of this legendary place.
I know that the hotpot dinners are supposed to be the highlights but asking a bit more of the signature noodles is not too much, is it?

The wanton were fine, thin skin, juicy on the inside but a bit too small. They felt malnourished.

The thick noodles are recommeded since you don’t get them everywhere and these are were chewy all the way.
They stole the show instead of being a vehicle for the meat or dumplings to float along with.

The beef brisket was nice but nothing better than what I had had. Wouldn’t come all the way here for this.

Seating outside would be a treat in this weather but sadly al fresco seating rarely seems not ruined by smokers.
When is it going to be banned all around?
