I've been there a couple of times, and I didn't suggest going there in every case. If you've never been there, you should go at least once. Sit outside if you can. Indeed the decor and the view is nice, but when I'm having Italian, i like to be at a place which at least looks authentic, no too-fancy decor, just good food. In terms of food, I'll say that Isola doesn't disappoint, but it's certainly not the best I've had. I'd choose Grappa's (PP) over Isola on any day. I've also been to the bar up

I've also been to the bar upstairs. The manager there sort of freaks me out (no offense to him, but I am a heterosexual male). The view is definitely nice, and the added bonus of going outside of the bar to the roof garden makes it an ideal place for private parties. The Chinese waiters there (I'm Chinese) like to engage in conversations about which female customer is pretty.
