To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. Came to this place for lunch with a few other family members. We did not have too high expectations of this place, knowing that this is just a self-serviced restaurant inside Ocean Park; after all, you come here for fun, not the food, right ? But we were pleasantly delighted to find that not only was the food not unpalatable, in fact it was not bad at all ! Came to this place for lunch with a few other family members. We did not have too high expectations of this place, knowing that this is just a self-serviced restaurant inside Ocean Park; after all, you come here for fun, not the food, right ? But we were pleasantly delighted to find that not only was the food not unpalatable, in fact it was not bad at all ! For instance, I ordered a lamb curry with basmati rice and curry beef with rice, both of which were tasty, spicy and delicious. Other members ordered a chicken dish and they also thought it was ok. Desserts (baked egg pudding and cheese cake) were also fine. Service was better than expected - the one working at the cashier actually gave us big smiles and the other staff were in general quite helpful. All these plus a great view - what more could you expect from this place ? Will definitely come again if I happen to visit Ocean Park again.
