Yes, decoration is nice – cute, clean and modern (but seating was a little cramp). Ambiance is young and lively. There is an outdoor sitting area, which is one floor up from the restaurant. It has a great open view of the Central area (but no sea view). Fantastic for taking a drink and some snacks and chitchatting with a few friends, when the weather is good.

On the service side, the staffs whom had served us appear to be friendly and attentive. They seemed to be utterly busy that night but still able to be aware of what we might need or remember what we have asked for. Towards the end of the night, Chef Alex even took some time to chat with the customers at each table – maybe hoping to get some feedbacks and comments
.

Now that I think back, I believe we had not ordered a lot of dishes. It is not that the portions were big. On the contrary, portions were small and it’s good to share with 2 to 3 friends at a time. For bigger group, you might need to order more than one portion for each dish. In general, food quality was good that night and there were a few that I like more.

The following were what we sampled:
Potatoes in spicy sauce & aioli – Not spicy at all. I think it’s just so so.
Scallop ceviche avocado & crispy shallots – I like very much. Very refreshing and light and appetizing.
Foie gras tomato chili jam, basil & popcorn powder – Good
Beef cheek with banana & passion fruit crispy roll – Love this! Beef was very tender but still taste like beef. Flavours were well balanced.
Boston lobster juicy rice – Not a fan of lobster but my friends said it’s good.

Desserts:
Rhubarb crumble with vanilla custard ice cream & dulce de leche – Not many places in Hong Kong serve desserts made with rhubarb. Well done!
Mango & white chocolate sandwich with puff pastry, raspberry compote & mixed berries sorbet – It’s yummy as well but prefer the rhubarb one.
