My girlfriend and I decided to have a nice girls' night out and went to isola. We didn't have a booking on Thursday night and waited about 15 mins for a table. In that time, we had a drink at the upstairs bar which was nice. to start, we shared a plate of fried calamari. The calamari was fine but it was served with mayonnaise and I personally prefer marinara sauce. My friend order the cod for main and I ordered the special seafood pasta.

I was so disappointed at the main. The seafood pasta had no seafood taste. The shrimp was not fresh. I think they did the special to get rid of the not so fresh seafood. My friend's cod tasted bland and the plating was awful. The served the cod with carrots and potatoes. How boring!

I would suggest the pizza at isola but the food is not good and worth the money .
