This used to be one of our favourite go-to places in Central in the evening. Food was always good, service was quick and prices were reasonable. The only downside is that it was also popular with many others so queuing for a table was often required.They have just renovated the place and, after it reopened in September, we were really looking forward to going back. Okay so the renovation makes it a bit brighter, they have moved some of the kitchen and bar spaces but not significant for customers
They have just renovated the place and, after it reopened in September, we were really looking forward to going back. Okay so the renovation makes it a bit brighter, they have moved some of the kitchen and bar spaces but not significant for customers. The menu also has some new items. Unfortunately the kitchen now seems to be really slow and it can take half an hour for food to arrive. Also we liked that you could order sake by the glass but that option is no longer there and the smallest size you can get is 300ml. Also the sake we liked isn't available any longer. We also like QR code ordering but they have dropped that - perhaps because the kitchen can't cope?
So rather disappointed with some of the changes. The fact that we got a table immediately and it was only half full suggests that we aren't the only ones that are disappointed.
