I live on Hong Kong Island and I rarely travel far to eat. However, because of my dad's friend's recommendation, we decided to try 容龍海鮮酒家.First thing I noticed as I entered the restaurant was that there were a lot of mainland tours dining there as well. It was quite noisy but we just ignored it.We ordered 黃金蝦, 薑蔥抄蟹, 薑蔥燜蠔, 芝士龍蝦, 老鼠班, 咕嚕肉, 上湯豆苗. There was complimentary watermelon as dessert.Overall, the food was okay, but it was nothing special. We ordered 黃金蝦, 薑蔥抄蟹, 薑蔥燜蠔, 芝士龍蝦, 老鼠班, 咕嚕肉, 上湯豆苗. There was complimentary watermelon as dessert.
Overall, the food was okay, but it was nothing special. It was not worth the long journey (took almost 2 hours from home to restaurant). Something to note: my dad got a stomach ache coming home after the meal. I most likely will not return.
