I shall start from the beginning. The place is nice and comfortable. I sat down and looked at the menu. I shall start from the beginning. The place is nice and comfortable. I sat down and looked at the menu. This place didn't have much variety in terms of korean food, but that's not a problem as long as what they offer is good. I am noodle person and really enjoy my noodles. I order the jamppong (the noodles in the spicy beef broth). It took around 10 minutes for the dish to come. I looked around and I saw boodaejigae. My mouth watered at the ramyun, but unfortunately because I was alone I could not order such a big meal for myself. The noodles came. The noodles were kinda stuck at the problem. The broth was okay, but most of taste was basically the spiciness. The taste entirely was okay, but it was nothing special. For a noodle shop and for the price (around HKD$75; $10 canadian), I'd wish there'd be more noodles to fill me up. There were little pieces of meat, a lot of bean sprouts and some tofu scrapes. I wish there were less beansprouts because I enjoy the noodles alone and have them within the noodles when I pick the noodles up to eat is unpleasant. The servers didn't look that happy, but they were not rude or anything. I would come back to try a different dish, but honestly there's nothing that is really driving me to come back other than my love for korean food. This restaurants needs something more for me to want to come back to restaurants. They don't really offer anything special because its not like their noodles were amazing. I may come back with friends to try the boodaejigae. If that happens, I shall review that.
