She said if we wanted the most tender meat we should go for the 豬扒, but if we wanted to try the 豬柳, we must order the one with black meat. Same price. We took her advice and decided to share: 2 炸豬扒 sets and 2 炸豬柳 sets shared amongst the 4 of us. But I wanted to change my rice to udon so was not allowed to order the set. 😞. He went to pick up. By the time he came back, everything was only lukewarm. ☹️ but the meat was still crispy. We all preferred the 炸豬扒 cos there were bits of fat attached to each strip. The 炸豬柳 was 一舊舊, thick to the bite but I found it ok. The pork came on a bed of raw cabbage 絲. We wondered if there would be unlimited refill of cabbage if we dined in. I also wondered whether we would get to grind our own sesame if we dined in. In summary, would probably order once every 2 months since it’s quite heavy. (I was still full at dinner time...)
