after reading all the reviews here i went and bought 3 yesterday. i bought appie pie, chocolate banana and blueberry yogurt.First, i was quite surprised at how sweet the mochis are because i read here that most people think it's not too sweet. Apple pie- the jelly and the crunchy bits inside the mochi are quite nice, flavors are good...but a bit sweet for my liking and doesn't have the acidity of the apple at all. Also did flavor seems quite artificial.Blueberry yogurt - the worst out of the 3.

Blueberry yogurt - the worst out of the 3. i can tell the base was a beany paste so it feels more like a traditional mochi. But then i can't really taste the yogurt...i offered some of all 3 to my bro and this one he just couldn't swallow at all......but it's ok
chocolate banana- not bad! i like the crunchy bits inside and the banana flavor came through. and i like the bitter chocolate powder on the outside...evens out the sweetness.
All in all i really liked the chewy mochi on the outside. But i think the prices are a bit much even if they are all 100% made in Japan.
