The ambience and service were very good so let’s congratulate The Statement on this first 👏. Starters were fine, tasty enough but I wasn’t wowed by them. We were given only one piece of bread each. Maybe a basket of them would have been more welcoming? Hot dishes were warm, not hot. The one dish that was impressive was the “impossible beef” vegetarian wellington. It was made up of mushroom and spinach instead of meat and was delicious. Wish it would come abit hotter than just warm.Desserts were

Desserts were a huge disappointment. We were given 4 different types and they were put into a shared plate and the presentation was awful. The texture of the desserts was all soft. We did not enjoy them.
The place was about 80% full with 90% westerners. If you don’t want to speak English to the waiting staff or don’t want to read its English only menu, this is not the place for you.
