Have you tried Okinawa-style onigiri before?? It’s essentially a rectangular onigiri with luncheon meat and tamago. At @onigiri_planet_hk , they’ve added more fillings to it. I love that the onigiri is made to order, so all fresh and hot. Tried the shrimp tempura, Japanese fried chicken, and fried scallops with mentaiko. The onigiri is very juicy as it’s got unique sauces inside. The rice is a mixture of Japanese and Taiwanese rice 👌🏻 my favourite was the shrimp tempura, as the shrimp was fresh,

The onigiri is very juicy as it’s got unique sauces inside. The rice is a mixture of Japanese and Taiwanese rice 👌🏻 my favourite was the shrimp tempura, as the shrimp was fresh, crispy, and big, also goes well with the tomato-ish sauce. The fried scallops one was not bad either as it comes with mentaiko sauce. For the fried chicken one, I added cheese to make it even more flavourful. The portion of one onigiri is larger than I expected, quite filling. I have to recommend their drinks too (in little fat cups)! Tried the honey lemonade and matcha soy milk. Although they specialises in onigiri, the drinks were pretty amazing as well. The honey lemonade was very refreshing as they use real lemon juice, very balanced sour and sweet taste 👍🏻the matcha soy milk was rich in matcha flavour and not bland at all, I can taste that they’ve put sufficient of matcha in it 👍🏻around $30-50 for an onigiri and make it a combo with drinks for additional $13!
