To celebrate our special occasion, I planned to give my wife a surprise by bringing her to an omakase restaurant at Sai Kung for dinner. WA-Theater Restaurant was located at The Pier Hotel, near Pak Sha Wan pier, where alot of yachts and boats were docked. We reached slightly before 7pm, still able to catch the scenery of sunset. This restaurant faced Sai Kung sea, where the view was mesmerizing. They have bar seating and private room for dining arrangement, with their decor modern and clean .

For their dinner set, they offered 4 pricing, ranging from $980 to $1880 per person. We go for their $1880 set, consisting of appetizers, sashimi, grilled items, hotpot, cooked items, soup and desserts.
We ordered a bottle of Shirakami Sanchi water, which was directly from Japan. It was very clear and refreshing, with soft taste.
Our first dish was appetizers, consisting of snapper milt with sour juice, konbu abalone, lotus root with mantou, snail and yuzu tomatoes. They were very juicy and appetizing, good for starters dish and clear my appetite.
Sashimi platter came with sweet shrimp, clams, oyster and toro. Sweet shrimp was sweet and fresh in taste and clams were very chewy and juicy. Vinegar jelly was added on top of the oyster, which was fat and juicy, with the vinegar jelly enhancing the taste. Toro was fatty, melting in my mouth.
Salt grilled sweetfish - The bones were very soft and brittle, thus we can eat it with the meat. Fish meat was slightly salty and flavourful, with daikon radish provided to complement the taste. Sliced lotus root was crunchy and juicy too.
Highlight of this meal was this snow crab leg hotpot. Soup was very clear and sweet, absorbing the essence of the crab broth. Crab meat was very sweet and juicy, with cabbage and mushroom etc in it.
Sliced beef rice with onion - Rice was very fragrant and chewy, with onion helping to make it flavourful. Beef was from Kumamoto, which was very tender and juicy. Preserved vegetables was provided at the side to go along with the rice.
The sushi chef was nice to treat us with minced tuna sushi with seaweed, which was very chewy and fatty, with the seaweed thin and crispy.
Fish soup was clear and sour in taste as lemon juice was added into it, helping us to clear the palate. Fish was soft and fresh, with tofu and mushroom in it.
Dessert was rock melon with soy sauce ice cream. Rock melon was very sweet and juicy while soy sauce ice cream was milky, with strong soy sauce taste. Biscuit was crispy.
