To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

I used one of the delivery platform to order a pick up at 12:08pm and expected delivery time was 12.34pm. I went on time and waited until 1:08pm for my meal. The receptionist was handling multiple tasks at the same time. She was so tired that couldn’t handle multiple complaints by the customers at the same time as she had to serve as a waitress for the dine in customers, cashier and manager the logistic of delivery and take out meal at the same time. It’s completely crazy. I don’t blame her but this place is understaffed and the fact that they give unreasonable delivery time put me off. I’m not sure who (restaurant or the delivery platform) handles the logistics but this kind of service is utterly unacceptable.
