Picking a restaurant for my girl friend’s birthday is really a headache. I don’t think it kills only me. But now, I got a place to introduce. The picture I found on the internet amazed me, really. its Hong Kong? It says Causeway Bay on the page but I couldn’t believe my eyes. You know what, the ads lie just like what facebook profile pics do. Maybe the picture was just too gorgeous. A huge tennis court size outdoor area with the harbor night view? I gotta go give a try.I’m not a big fan of al fre

I’m not a big fan of al fresco dinning, my gal friend neither. Anyways I reserved a table for 2 outdoor. It’s a waste of money if you sitting indoor at such a place like hooray, I think.
Wow! The picture was not photoshop moded! The indoor was a bit packed but the outside, um, I got it right. Anyone takes a snap shot there will eventually win a photography contest. Thanks god we were fighting for space a minute ago at the centre of the city, a minute after we found ourselves in Fiji. Other than those cheap cheap ikea chairs which I found them lame, I got nothing else that I could complain about.
Now the food. First thing comes to our mind is PORTION. I am a big eater but couldn’t finish them all. My advice is, leave yourselves empty stomache before you go Hooray. Especially GALS.
The ravishing harbor view did not distracted us on food tasting. The al dante penne went far beyond our expectation. It was not difficult to tell that the pasta was HANDMADE. Pasta sauce was so tasty and creamy that we couldn’t focus on the pasta. Overall the dish was a bit over seasoned but it didn’t ruin the whole thing anyway. Pizza was super, it smelled great while it tasted also perfect. Hoikaido Scallops were tender and I loved egg scramble and truffle so it tempted me. The pan seared sea bass was tad bit dry itself but it worked fine with the sauce. The Ginger Delight warmed me up and made me Christmas mooded.
Service? 2 yeses. We are the kind of people who hate robotic smiles and fake thank yous. My gal friend loved their service. Their hellos are chummy and they spent time for explaining how they made the pastas, and even teaching us how to plant herbs! We had a unforgettable night there.
