This tiny place has only 14 seats. Serves only 4 types of ramen. Yet people line up, twenty or even thirty deep, outside the shop. You get a clue this place is special.  Their basic ramen is Tamashii,$69, a kotteri style tonkotsu broth with a slice of pork and half an egg. Red Dragon has a tomato/pepper tare that's slightly spicy, with salmon. Taichi comes with a squid ink broth and crab butter, and Green Dragon, the most expensive at $99, finely minced spinach broth, with crab and fish roe.Whil

While there are only 14 seats, I see three guys working in the kitchen, and three women serving, clearing table, ringing up the register etc. Food does come up fast and tea cups refilled promptly. The bowl of noodles arrives, and I breath in the aroma. Then take a sip of the broth. Slightly on the salty side, but rich and flavorful. Noodles is perfectly cooked, as expected. Ahh, this is as good as it gets.
There's only one slice of pork, but it's melt-in-your-mouth succulent. A bit pricey, but well worth it.
The counter has a curious set up, with partitions between seats. Like they want you to focus on your noodles and nothing else.
Definitely not the place to date. And should you linger and chat with your friend after finishing your food, the waitress will politely remind you that they have a long line outside.
