We got have a colleague who has her birthday today, and all our graduate trainee buddies have prepared a birthday cake celebrating altogether in the afternoon at office pantry.I should have said we had bought a birthday cake from Maxim’s instead of saying preparing one I am afraid.It is just a little celebration, so we did not do much and just bought a “Chestnut Cake” in the morning, and then came to office before 9 o’clock. It is just a little celebration, so we did not do much and just bought a “Chestnut Cake” in the morning, and then came to office before 9 o’clock. It look us $168 for a standard size of this cake.
Obviously we had to do a little bit of photo shooting before cutting into smaller slides and enjoying it. It has really poor texture which it began to collapse when we first cut on it, and then totally messed up at the end that was quite difficult to make it into individual slides. More importantly, the taste is very light which I could not even see how it is related to chestnut. It was just like eating a normal butter cake with some cream on top. Anyway, both texture and taste of the cake failed in fact……Post
