This is my first time here for afternoon tea set. I've had good experience having lunch here. But today is a big disppointment. This is my first time here for afternoon tea set. I've had good experience having lunch here. But today is a big disppointment.
The tea set menu are mainly burgers, baguette sandwich and crossiant sandwich. I ordered bacon and egg baguette with regular fries; and I picked "special iced tea" which is Chrysanthemum tea.
The wait time for food was fairly long. When the food was served, I didn't feel it was particularly enticing. Anyways, I gave it a try.
The baguette was baked lightly so the crust was crispy, it was dry and hard. The bacon was overcooked, i could taste the "burnt" taste during the whole serving. They gave me steak fries, which is my favorite, but fries were stiff and color was medium brown as opposed to golden, it tasted like it's been re-cooked.
I couldn't finsih the drink - the Chrysanthemum tea was very blend, there is a hint of Chrysanthemum, but there is also a kick from certain kind of spice. It's really not my cup of tea, so i passed.
I left the restaurant full but unsatisfied.
