Its dark all-black edgy decor and instagram-worthy looking desserts certainly attract and it’s evident in the queue I find myself in on a weekday afternoon 🤦🏻♀️ We came for a late afternoon sweet treat but their big portion size has thrown us off a bit.. Ended up ordering mille-feuille and souffle pancake both with orange suzette because this seems to be the lightest flavor option 🙈Order any dessert comes with a drink on or below $40 which already covers most coffee and tea. Order any dessert comes with a drink on or below $40 which already covers most coffee and tea. It’s a pretty good deal. But is it worth queuing for? umm I think there’re better alternatives in terms of both cafe and dessert out there 🤭

Mille-feuille with Orange Suzette | $68
It’s like putting the normal mille-feuille under a magnifying glass 😳 It’s HUGE. Enormous custard is sandwiched between two big pastries. As expected, the custard is very sweet so I really couldn’t eat much of it. The pastry is very crispy, but there’s only a few super thin layers hence so airy within, missing the multilayering crunch that mille-feuille is all about. But it does come with decent buttery aroma. The orange segment with syrup is quite sweet which doesn’t give much of the citrusy balance I was looking for.

Orange Suzette souffle pancake | $88
Their signature souffle pancake is fluffy and airy, but slightly undercooked being too foamy without much pancake structure. It’s essentially a original flavored pancake with orange segment on top so there’s no orange flavor in the pancake itself. Yet there’s just moderate egg flavor.

Hojicha latte is more on the milky side, while the Flat White is a decent one.
