Last dinner before the restrictions! Literally squeezed this in the day before hahahhaWent for the 18 course dinner omakase ($998) and we sure got a variety of items. Went for the 18 course dinner omakase ($998) and we sure got a variety of items. There were sudden intervals of modernity cutting throught the meal, like a piece of dehydrated caviar crisp on the toro and the pasta dish near the end (mind you it was a good mentiako pasta), which were quite surprising for an omakase, but given the value and the last minute booking, I'd say it was alright. I would like the rice to be more consistent in terms of temperature and less sticky, and really it would be great if chef introduces all the dishes, a shame that he didn't introduce a few of the sushi pieces.
