Have been here since it first opened a few years ago, mainly due to its coffee being 'not too bad' but still better than the rest in Hong KongHaving said that, I never thought the coffee here was exceptional but at least it was drinkable. Sometimes its quite bitter whereas other times it has hardly any taste. This problem is then double exaggerated again by the inconsistency of the coffee making. The barista's skills in extracting the coffee also makes a big difference - Epoch from my observation needs to up their skills pulling the base espresso shots. Its pouring way too fast sometimes, but its embarrassing to try tell them in person. The milk frothing bit however is better relatively speaking although could be a bit smoother.
I DO NOT recommend the cafe latte here - the glass they use is too big for a single shot of espresso, meaning it always has little taste. I RECOMMEND the Cappucino meanwhile as with the smaller cup and also less milk its much stronger.
Have also had Cakes and Crab meat sandwiches here - they're quite good actually.
