Read the good reviews on this restaurant and decided to try it. AFter being seated, waited for 10 minutes before a hurried waitress came and asked "did you get a menu?" (sorry, can't you see we had NO menu on the table?). After another 10 minutes, had to flag down another waitress and asked for water, and after waiting for many more minutes, finally got our water (which tasted strong chlorine. We arrived before 7 pm but the place was already packed with screaming/crying toddlers. Not a good place for a romantic dinner. you can hardly hear each other.
The penne arrabiata was ok texture wise, but the chef probably forgot he put in salt so he did it twice . It was so salty it was barely edible. The sauce for spaghetti with prawns was REALLY creamy and cheesy so unless you are a fan of both, don't order this. They had a 16oz rump steak for HKD288, which seemed like a good deal, so we ordered it. However, the steak was not good quality as it was full of muscles, so 50% cannot be swallowed. Probably could have sent it back but we did not want to waste time waiting for another dish as the place was so busy.
For this price (average HKD200 per person before drinks) there are lots of choices around. Probably the last time I will visit there. Maybe other people had better experience and hence the good reviews.
