Weekend pop up at Western district is becoming my habit with good number of new restaurants. I came across an eye-catching one on the quiet Catchick Street tonight. The blue lighting and bright shop label ensure passengers won’t miss it as the street was relatively dark on a Sunday evening.It is a cozy and neat place. Learned by the name, Gioia is specialized in oyster and charcoal grilled. I have no doubt to taste both.
Fresh oyster (6 pieces) Our choice came from South Africa and Australia. They were all just opened and retained original sea water saltiness on the shell instead of having them wash away.
