An oyster bar was set in front of a bar with hand-crafted beer display and many other collections.

Learned by the name, Gioia is specialized in oyster and charcoal grilled. I have no doubt to taste both.

Our choice came from South Africa and Australia. They were all just opened and retained original sea water saltiness on the shell instead of having them wash away.

It was the second time I have oyster from South Africa and so not surprised to find then creamy, smooth and not small in size. Taste sweet with less ocean feel.

Comparing with Namibia, aroma of Coffin Bay was stronger. It tasted more salty, seaweed and have sweet lingering aftertaste.

The highlight of this dish was definitely the slow cook chicken breast. It looked like turkey sausage with light color and circular in shape. Interestingly, it got the aroma and texture as chicken meat but in a juicy and tender way.

Contrary to popular handing, bacon on the Caesar salad was served in a big whole piece. It was very thin and crispy, added on satisfaction from chewing.

I also liked Pumpkin soup with creamy and texture and adequate crab meat in it. Pumpkin contributed unique aroma and I felt healthy having it.

Grilled dish was not disappointing. Thin dough pizza was crispy, match perfectly with delicious Italian sausage, cheese, olive, onion, mixed pepper and herb as topping.

A whole lobster was served and grilled just right. Lobster was juicy and fresh. Spaghetti was very delicious with seasoning of lobster juice and basil.

Although there was nothing unforgettable here, it was a pleasant dinning experience.
