Came to this restaurant in HKUST, hoped to try their semi lunch buffet to find out that the buffet stops serving at 2.30, so we had to go for the tea set.

the tea sets come with tea/coffee. since we were starving, we quickly ordered one beef shin noodle and one salmon ciabatta and two hot coffee.

the coffee arrived in good time. but we had to wait for another 45 mins for the food, ridiculous time, given the salmon ciabatta requires 0 cooking and the noodle doesn’t require sophisticated cooking either.

during the course of the 45 mins wait. we patiently waited for 30 mins for the food to arrive. nonetheless, we couldn’t stand it after that. and have chased up for our orders. at first instance, the waitress told us it would take 1 mins for the food to come. yet we waited for another 15 mins for the ciabatta to arrive. but then the noodle is still outstanding, so we followed up again , which the waitress ning told is that the noodle will be coming soon. but then it still hadnt arrive. so we followed up again with the waitress called niko, who told us to wait as shes serving the other table but would come back but never did. slowly losing patience, we called upon ning again, this time round, we were told that they think the kitchen have left out the order, so they will get it prepared now.....

all this time, it was just us and another table(arrived later than us) but food served much quicker.

back to the food, the ciabatta was over toasted and the noodle were quite standard, thought the beef shin was tender. have to say will not come back at least for a while, and would most probably stick to the lunch buffet.
