If you are searching for a donner kebab style joint, save yourself the trip.  Zahrabel is the epitome of poshness from produce to presentation.  You can detect the care and precision employed from your entry to exit.  Smart menu with sharing mezzeh dishes, smart service, and a simple elegance to the place.   Staff will gladly educate you on its history namely that it is not a new restaurant per se but a continuing (Lebanese) family business.  The recipes have obviously stood the test of time which is a significant credit in a city like Hong Kong (or elsewhere really.)  Was I blown away by the taste though?  The answer is a resounding yes.  This place nails the simplest recipes like the humble humus but has other very interesting recipes and unique flavour combinations that will certainly lure you back.  Then there is the meat and just how they managed to  get the lamb to be so tender is anyone's guess.   Hands down the best lamb in Hong Kong.  It's an equal opportunities menu though - the veggie dishes were almost as outstanding as the lamb (a cauliflower dish was especially great).   6 courses, limitless bread, lebanese dessert,  coffee, lebanese tea and some pickled veggies will all amount to $420 per diner.  For its poshness, presentation and preparation, it deserves a 5 star rating all around.
Other Info. : Perfect for evening dates or equally for large group occasions. Tip : be sure to request the corner window seat if you are on a date or prefer a spot of quiet as weekends are packed
