Had high expectations seeing the bright and tasteful decor, but was thoroughly disappointed. I ordered the Egyptian egg (from the breakfast menu). The egg itself was watery and entirely tasteless; the avocado underneath was unripe and similarly bland. The egg itself was watery and entirely tasteless; the avocado underneath was unripe and similarly bland. On the side was a heap of undressed arugula sprinkled with dukkah (an Egyptian nut and spice blend). I'm usually a fan of bitter greens and spices, but not when these are the only flavours present. The smear of beetroot puree on the side was nice enough, as was the pleasantly crunchy bread, but they did almost nothing to counter the overwhelming blandness of the dish. Would not recommend, considering the $130 price tag.
