If you grew up having char siu rice (Cantonese style bbq pork rice), you would probably know that there are 2 types of char siu ~ fat and lean. I used to be a big fan of lean char siu. While most vegan char siu available in veggie restaurants is the fat type ~ the softer, juicier and melts-in-your-mouth type, what they have at Loving Hut (Amoy Garden branch only) is exactly my type 🤩 As you can see in the first pic, it looks a bit dry, a bit burnt and has a firmer texture 🤤 .Which type of char s
