After the Pierre Herme x Ritz Carlton afternoon tea, I couldn't resist but buy more of Pierre Herme's macarons because they are so good! Got all 4 of their holidays flavors with chocolate & foie gras, white truffle & hazelnut, green apple & lovage and candied chestnut along with my usual faves Ispahan, vanilla & olive oil, and chocolate & passion fruit.

The white truffle and chestnut flavors were solid but I couldn't really taste the foie gras while the green apple & lovage was downright weird as it tasted of celery! I'm not sure who thought it would be a good idea but celery in dessert is not good.

Even though the holiday flavors were a bit mixed, it's good that they have a wide range of base flavors for you to choose from.
