This is our third time having Dough Bros already, this time we got it from the Happy Valley branch. I am happy to report that the food is just as amazing as the previous times. The pizzas were great, the doughnuts were great, I know this might sounds odd but the sauce totally stole the show, it was fragrant and flavorful but not rich, just phenomenal.Although this is our 3rd time having Dough Bros, we had actually never tried these two pizzas before. Although this is our 3rd time having Dough Bros, we had actually never tried these two pizzas before. This time we got "The parma" and "The sophisticated".
One of the reasons I LOVE their pizza is that they are always extremely generous with their ingredients. "The parma" was COVERED in nice large pieces parma ham (they were larger than my palms). The crust was nicely charred and chewy, the rocket greens were fresh.
As for "The sophisticated", its actually better than we expected. The goat cheese had me hesitated and curious at the same time, and curiosity won. Flavour wise, it was great, its vegetarian, yet very flavorful, the cheese and caramelized onion definitely pulled their weight. Frankly I was a bit worried the goat cheese would be too "goaty" but it wasn't, its just good cheese.
Overall, another very satisfying dinning experience, 100% recommend, would definitely get it again when given the chance.
Oh, and would you just take a look at the photo, I took the photo AFTER I got home, it still look stunning after 50 mins of commute. Chef kiss ~
