Arrived at Ned Kelly's arouund 7. As I was early I decided to order the "Basket of Chips" with cheese from the Snacks Menu ($68). Unfortunately I did not take a photo, but it was nothing worth showing off. What came out was something that looked like a school dinner. A handful of chips sprinkled over a plate, and a couple of shreds of cheese. Definitely not a basket of chips as advertised. The rest of my friends arrived at around 7:45. The rest of my friends arrived at around 7:45. We ordered almost immediately however no food turned up for 45 minutes. It was only after we reminded the waitresses that 2 plates of food arrived. The remaining 5 plates of food didn't arrive until at least another 15 minutes (1 hour after ordering our food).
I ordered the Great Australian Bite ($126). The pie was just warm and soft - like it had been microwaved; the gravy was gelatinous and seemed to separate from the liquid like oil on water; the sides (bread, mash, broccoli and carrots) were bland and, again, something you would expect from your terrible school dinners. Definitely not worth the $126 price tag.
One of my friends ordered a drink but didn't get it until he had to remind a waitress about 20 minutes after he ordered. When he did get it the drink was wrong.
The entire meal could be described as overpriced, poor service and poor food quality.
