This is a newly open restaurant at Wanchai. According to the manager, this is the first Belgium restaurant in HK but they do serve fusion to meet local needs. This is a newly open restaurant at Wanchai. According to the manager, this is the first Belgium restaurant in HK but they do serve fusion to meet local needs. I was there for lunch but decided to try their recommendation - HK breakfast and Belgium waffle. HK breakfast is actually a Chinese porridge with some vegetable. The set comes with a cup of coffee and served in a bowl. The taste of the porridge is fine but not the waffle. I would expect the waffle is freshly made but it's not. They just heat up the waffle and nothing special compare with others. The coffee is too diluted. To be honest, I would rather go to La Station if I have to pay separately. What make me upset is the service. It took them more than 30mins to serve the food. All the staff "look" busy n everyone is just running like headless chicken. They do not know what they need to do and have no knowledge about the menu. In fact I am not the only one feel upset with the service because the gentleman seated next to my table also had a bad experience and make a complaint to one of the staff there. i decided to give them another chance and I went there this morning for brunch. I was one of their first client of the day and I make my order once I was seated. I waited for more than 30 mins and my food is still not ready. Later I get to know that they did not place my order and the waitress apologise for what happen and quickly placed my order. I waited for another 20 mins and I saw they have been serving the rest of the client and yet my food is not ready. I was extremely dissapointed and this is my second visit there but still facing the same problem. That's enough. If they are not ready to serve I would suggest them not to rush to open because that's really chase people away. By the time I decided to leave my food is still not ready. No more third visit!
