We have eatern very regulalry at the The Peak Lookout at the airport at least 20 times this year and have never been dissapointed. So with visiting family we tried to book another restauraunt at the Peak - however Friday night it was full, so booked here for 8.00pm. Now I know why there was no problem booking it was empty!!!!The service was very slow, the meal for 5 did not arrive in the appropriate order or timing - still eating the starter when the main course arrived - then asked for the main
The service was very slow, the meal for 5 did not arrive in the appropriate order or timing - still eating the starter when the main course arrived - then asked for the main course to be taken back to the kitchen but was promptly placed on another table to cool down in the aircon! Had to ask three times for drinking water. Ceasar salad was just iceberg lettuce with some toasted bread and dressing - spot the chicken and no bacon insight. Veal chop was good but came unaccompannnied apart from a salad leaf!!! Mussels - cold now from waiting.
Looking around the place 9 or more waiting staff who were not very attentive considering on arrival there might have been 30 guests in total. Decor very tired in need of TLC. Over all very dissapoininted and shockingly overpriced.
