After work today, I decided to have dinner with one of my colleague. He suggested to eat BBQ and recommended me to go to Good News Barbecue Restaurant for dinner. It was located at Portland Street, around 3 minutes walk from Yau Ma Tei MTR. Despite being a small shop, they offered a wide range of dishes. Despite being a small shop, they offered a wide range of dishes. They provided seafood, pasta, snack, meat, vegetables and drinks etc.
Herbal tea - It was sweet and cooling, perfect after eating so much heaty food.
Quesadilla (cheese truffle mushroom) - It was toasted till very crispy and the skin was thin as well. The filling inside was cheesy and creamy, with mushroom chewy and smooth as well.
Pineapple - It was grilled till slightly charred, having the charred taste. It was still very juicy and sweet, perfect for after meals.
Baked oysters (Garlic) - Oysters was fat and meaty, almost melting in my mouth. Garlic helped to enhance the taste as well.
Stewed eel - It was grilled till nicely, with the skin thin and crispy, and yet the meat was still soft and tender. The seasoning helped to bring out the flavour as well.
Prawns - The skin was considered easy to peel off after grilling for so long. Prawns was still juicy and chewy, with the sauce provided helping to enhance the taste.
