My go-to café for delicious bakes and healthy pancakes 🥞, 14 South Lane is a great place to bring your meat-eating friends because their menu is 80% vegetarian and this way you can easily nudge them to eat plant-based!

The owners care a lot about sustainability and community so everything from their menu to supplier selection to packaging and recycling are given a great deal of thoughts. They have two cute tables outside and a cosy, spacious indoor seating that tend to get quite busy on weekends.

The texture was a lot thicker than I expected. There were a lot of garlic croutons both on the top and inside, which added texture and went well with the chowder.
Would love it more if the soup had a stronger roasted garlic flavour.

A feast for the eyes and stomach, this is a dish that I always order and enjoy.
This beautiful Moroccan-inspired bowl🇲🇦 is made up of tabbouleh, spinach pea falafel, hummus, pita bread, honey halloumi, smokey harissa, roasted zucchini and marinated olives.
It was super nourishing and wholesome as usual, I loved everything, especially the smokey harissa which was not spicy but went so well with the zucchini and falafel.
Great dish to share or to enjoy all by yourself!

First time trying this non-caffeinated latte ☕️ made from raw beetroot juice, cinnamon and vegan milk of your choice. I picked almond milk this time (+HK$3).
The beetroot flavour wasn’t overpowering but was definitely there - I liked the earthiness from the beet and what a cute pink colour!
🤤 4/5

🌱 Vegetarian paradise: Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options - everyone would be happy here!
🥖 AMAZING bakes: Heavenly banana bread, carrot cake, sourdough, so far everything I’ve tried was good!
💰 HK$150-250 pp

⭐️ Overall rating: 4/5

🤔 Revisit? For sure! Was too full to try their Red Velvet Parfait Pancake but I’ll definitely be back before they change the flavour!
