1. Arrived at 5pm, there was a sign saying that food was sold out during lunch hour, and they were preparing to open at 5:30pm. Strolled around in Tai Hang, came back at 5:25pm, there was already a line outside. The restaurant didn’t open until 5:50pm.
2. There were only 2 serving staff, the one who looks like boss said some people bailed them out so it took them more time to prepare the food, and only two types of rice were available - pork petty and cha siu.
3. They served side dishes first, like steam rice rolls and bak keu teh (肉骨茶). I didn’t order any, so I had to wait while drooling at others’ food which smelled nice.
4. The sunny side up is fantastic. Egg yolk was not too runny though, bottom of the egg yolk was actually well done. The pork petty is amazingly delicious! Love it!
5. The rice was a bit too soft though.
