In my continual quest searching for above average lunch venues in North Point, we tried out Alfafa today in the Island Place mall. Situated on the first floor, the restaurant is smallish with some external seating extending into the mall walkway floor. Felt a bit warm - mall needs to crank up the AC.Food was pretty decent, and a good value for money. We ordered the steak + risotto, and chicken + angel hair, both running about $100 with drink and soup or salad. They have dessert add-ons for +20is

Food was pretty decent, and a good value for money. We ordered the steak + risotto, and chicken + angel hair, both running about $100 with drink and soup or salad. They have dessert add-ons for +20ish but were weirdly out of all 3 of their tart selections - almond, lemon, chocolate. Was only midway through lunch service?

I guess this is another decent option in North Point. Although it just felt really hot sitting there. And the food took a really long time - they list a 15 min prep time on the menu, was closer to 20-25 min. Really shouldn’t take so long - it’s just a lunch set. Not rocket science

Meh...
